Although there have been many advances in the development of paradox theory in the last decade, most of the studies have analysed the impact of single paradoxes within organisations (such as the identity paradox or performing paradox). The aim is to systemize inter-organisational tensions from a circular value chain perspective, as well as to anticipate inter-organisational tension management through capabilities.
