Presentation “Entrepreneurial Dynamics in Sustainable New Product Development: System Thinking and Tension Management”
Entrepreneurs can contribute significantly to grand socio-ecological challenges by developing sustainable products. However, they often face tensions to deal with complexity of sustainability and actual integration into new product development processes to avoid greenwashing. By using the case of circular design pre-accelerator, we seek to explore why entrepreneurs face tension to apply system thinking in sustainable new product development and how learning mechanisms can facilitate application of systems thinking.
